Museum Friedland
Kunzberg was commissioned with the conception, planning and realization of the exhibition design for the extension to the Museum Friedland.
The museum is located next to a former border transit camp. While the current permanent exhibition in the old railway station focuses on the historical aspects of the camp, the new exhibition deals with the causes and effects of flight.
A central point of the exhibition concept is the involvement of former residents of the transit camp. The extension is planned as a link between the station building and the border transit camp. The aim is to create a “third place” with the new building. The focus is on participation, which will also be achieved through accessibility and multilingualism.
